Densil Jayaweeras maiden movie Wassanaya Senehasa

Editor turned director Densil Jayaweera’s maiden movie Wassanaya Senehasa which had been titled Dase Disnaya began work with a muhurath ceremony recently. Udith Abeyratne, Sandali Sulakkana, Umayangana Wickramasinghe and Chandika Nanayakkara will take on the lead roles. This is the firs time Umayangana and Sandali will be acting in a film.
The other roles will be portrayed by Vijayaratne Warakagoda, Veena Jayakody, Janak Premalal, Rodney Warnakula, Rajasinghe Loluwagoda, Gamini Jayalath, Manohari Wimalatunga, Sriyani Mahawatte, Gunawardena Hettiarachchi, Mihiri Sirithilake, Chami Senanayake and Udara Laksarana.

Ranjith Jayasinghe is the assistant director, M A Gafur is the cameraman, Sarath de Alwis is the music director, Gamini Costa is the make up artist and Prasad Udagasooriya is the art director. The lyrics are penned by Dr Ajantha Ranasinghe and Saman Chandranath Weerasinghe while Buddhika Ushan, Nilupuli Dilhara and Senanai Panchamaduri had rendered their voices for the songs. The story, dialogs and screenplay is by the Wassanaya Senehasa Film director. Sudath Dharmapriya and Upul Priyantha are the producers on Dase Disnaya.
