Mervyn plays role of yaksha(Yaka) in ‘Kuveni’

During the recent shooting of a film, minister Mervyn Silva played the role of a yaksha.
‘Kuveni’ was shot at the Gampaha Botanical Gardens.
The makeup artiste for the film is Wasantha Vittachchi, who has asked Mr. Silva whether he would become allergic if an artificial beard was pasted onto his face.
The minister said during the shooting that it was not difficult to act in films, as doing politics is also a form of acting.
