Sinhala Film Sangili ‘Sangili’ shooting ends

Lalith Pannipitiya who directed ‘Political Jokes’ last week ended the shooting schedule of his newest film venture ‘Sangili’.
Dulani Anuradha plays the title role in Sangili while the rest of the cast includes Sanath Gunathilaka, Saranga Dissasekara, Veena Jayakody, Wimal Kumar de Costa, Neil Alles, Lionel Wickrema, Kumudini Adhikari, Isanka Heshani, Rebecca Nirmalee and others. The film produced by K. G. Shirani Dias was picturised in breathtaking locales in and around Dambulla.

A. H. Karunaratne has scripted the story, Nilantha Chularatne has handled the camera, Saman Panapitiya the music, Hemachandra Perera and Shan Makandura the art direction, Pujitha Sanadaradura the make up and Wasantha de Silva the still photography while Nilantha Perera has assisted in the direction.
