Roshan Ravindra and Himali Sayurangi (L) were adjudged the Best Actor and Actress while Udari Warnakulasuriya and Saranga Disasekara were chosen the Most Popular Actress and Actor, at the 16th Sumathi Tele Awards held last night at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

Suseema to hit theatres in July Screenplay is by Rohan Welivita

Suseema – the popular teledrama in the 1980’s has been made into a film and will hit the theatres in July 2011. The musical story revolving around a beat band returns with a novel cast and a crew and it will be a refreshing experience for those who had watched the teledrama version as well as to the readers of the original comic story written by well known artist Janaka Ratnayake.
